How to Order

How to Order:

Simply place your order online using our shop feature, send it by e-mail at or call us at (514) 369-1888. Details below.

Pick-up (no minimum purchase required)

Orders placed by e-mail and online - Once your order has been seen, we will send you a confirmation notice and an estimate as to when it will be ready (within 24 hours after receiving the order). Please be specific when placing your order via email (ex: instead of "mixed greens", "1 salad mix" or "2 leafy lettuce (red or green)" . This will help us prepare your order more quickly and ensure that we are giving you what you want! Once your order has been prepared, we will then send you an e-mail that it is ready and waiting! This e-mail will also include the total amount and can be paid by e-transfer or in person. Please wait to receive this confirmation before coming in. 

Orders placed by phone - Please call us during our opening hours if you wish to place an order by phone. We will do our best to take your order right away and give you an estimate as to when it will be ready for pick up (or delivery). There is a chance that we will have to call you back to take it, in which case, we will do so as soon as possible.

Curbside pick-up - If you prefer not to come into the store we will gladly prepare your order and have it ready for you to come and pick up. We ask that you pay via e-transfer prior to coming by. This helps to avoid waiting in a queue (should you be in a hurry or wish not to come in the store). If you prefer to pay in person that is also fine, but we cannot guarantee that there will not be some wait time. If you are unable to come by during our opening hours for your order, please contact us.                                                                    

Delivery (minimum order $100 before tax)

For delivery, the minimum order is $100 and there is a $5 fee. We deliver three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We ask that you please place your order the day before your chosen delivery day (or earlier). *Exceptions made for "Special Circumstances" (see below).

For orders placed online that wish to be delivered: please select "ship" when checking out.

*Please indicate your preferred delivery day in the notes section in your cart (Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday).

Orders that do not meet the minimum purchase of $100 before tax will not be able to continue through checkout. If you receive an error message, please be sure to check that you meet the minimum requirement before contacting us. 

*Please note that we are currently unable to accept debit as payment for our deliveries. See below for accepted methods of payment.

Special Circumstances

If you are *age 65 or older, *have reduced mobility or *isolating due to Covid-19 we will prioritize your order and do our best to get it to you as soon as possible. Please specify these circumstances when placing your order so that we may accommodate you.

Where we deliver to: Westmount, NDG, Cote-des-Neiges, Montreal West, Saint-Henri, Cote-St-Luc, Verdun, Lasalle, Downtown Montreal (includes Shaugnessy Village, Griffintown, Little Burgundy)

Delivery days: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (12pm - 8pm)

Methods of Payment accepted:

Delivery - cash, credit (Visa or Mastercard), e-transfer
Pick-up - cash, credit (Visa or Mastercard), debit, e-transfer 

All items in your order are carefully selected by the members in our team to meet the highest quality. At L'Autre Choix, our mission is to offer the best selection of local and organic produce from our neighboring farms, year-round. Naturally, this will fluctuate with the seasons depending on what's available and we do our best to update our inventory online to match our selection in store. If there is an item you wish to purchase that cannot be seen on our website, please leave us a note in your cart (for online orders) of the item and in what quantity and we will do our best to fulfill your order. If any items are unavailable during packing, we will be sure to contact you with a recommended replacement.             



Why can’t I pay for my order online? When you use our online system to place your order, the total amount is an estimate. This is because we need to weigh certain items in order to determine their price. Once your order is complete, we will contact you with the total official amount and then if you still wish to pay online we offer the option to send an e-transfer.
